About The Cooking Machine

We think home cooking has a temperature problem.

Recipes specify exact temperatures. Kitchens can't hold them. Everything between those two facts (scorched sauces, dry chicken, tough braises) is what we're working on.

The Cooking Machine is a small team building a countertop cooking appliance around precise temperature control. We're keeping the details quiet until launch, but the goal is simple to state: set the temperature a dish actually needs, and trust it to stay there.

While we build, we're publishing the guides: free, no-signup reference material on the temperature science behind everyday cooking. If they're useful, the machine will make sense when you see it.
